This is my second year celebrating Earth Hour with WWF-Malaysia at Sunway Shopping Mall.
For those who are in the dark about Earth Hour, (pun intended), Earth Hour is actually a worldwide event organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and held on the last Saturday of March annually, encouraging households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights for one hour to raise awareness about the need to take action on climate change.
To add a little sparkle and glamour to the event, local celebrities like Amanda Imani, Amber Chia, Soo Wincci, Rina Omar, Chermaine Poo, Jeremy Teo, Joey G and Xandria Ooi were invite to do the Earth Hour countdown. Can you spot them?
At the clock struck 8:30pm on 31 March 2012, non-essential lights around the Sunway Pyramid started to fade into darkness!
