3.2.1...Gong! 
6:00 “Gong” off time. That was after two National songs being played. We stood still in respect. There were some idiots who walked around clueless nonetheless.
Some runners started to run even before the “gong off”. It was a stampede. The half marathon and 10K started together!!! Better crowd control if they could split the start time for ½ marathon and 10k runners.
